HARRISBURG – Rep. Ann Flood (R-Northampton) is excited to announce Forks Township has been awarded $442,716 from Pennsylvania’s Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF) for a pavement rehabilitation and safety improvement project.

The funding will support roadway and stormwater infrastructure upgrades on Old Mill Road, Marigold Road and Periwinkle Avenue in Forks Township, Northampton County.

“Upgrading our roads and improving safety measures is essential for our residents,” said Flood. “Stronger, well-maintained roads make daily commutes safer, support local businesses and ensure emergency services can respond quickly. Projects like this create real, long-lasting benefits for our community.”

Project details include:
• Pavement rehabilitation of Old Mill Road, Marigold Road and Periwinkle Avenue.
• Stormwater management improvements to prevent roadway damage and enhance drainage.
