You can help protect your identity by shredding documents with personal and sensitive information at our upcoming FREE paper shredding event being held Saturday, June 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hanover Township Community Center, located at 3660 Jacksonville Road in Bethlehem.

The event, which will feature an on-site industrial paper shredder, will provide the opportunity for households to shred up to four boxes or bags of materials.

Please be aware of the following specifications and limitations:

• There is a limit of four boxes or bags per household.
• This event is for home and personal paper shredding only; no businesses please.
• Paper and manilla folders are the primary examples of materials that can be shredded.
• Staples and paperclips do not need to be removed for the papers to be shredded.
